The RM of Buckland has temporarily closed its administrative office after an individual who works in the building tested positive for COVID-19.

The RM announced the decision on Facebook on Friday morning. The closure came into effect immediately.

The council meeting scheduled for May 10 has been postponed as a result of the closure. The RM has not set a new date as of yet.

RM staff will monitor voicemails and communications remotely during the closure.

This is the second RM in the area to temporarily close its offices due to a positive COVID-19 case. The RM of Prince Albert also closed their offices on Friday, and postponed their next council meeting.
