RCMP investigating ‘serious accident’

Prince Albert are investigating what is being called a “serious accident” on Highway 2 just north of the Nisbet Fire Depot.

Two-way traffic was diverted onto the southbound lanes as officers investigate the collision. A spokesperson had little detail to add, as investigators are still on scene.

Officers were examining debris ont he ground, and there appeared to be something in the median covered by a white tarp. A black pickup truck was located on the far shoulder, facing the wrong direction. Members of the Buckland Fire Department were out directing traffic.
