RCMP asking for assistance identifying suspects in La Ronge robbery

Police are asking the public for help identifying this suspect in a La Ronge robbery.

La Ronge RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating three suspects wanted in connection with the robbery and murder of Simon Grant.

All three suspects are believed to be male.

Suspect one was wearing a black balaclava, black hooded sweatshirt, dark coloured pants/jeans and carrying a light coloured baseball bat.

Suspect two was wearing a black cap, black scarf, black hooded jacket and black pants with the word ‘black’ written across the front in white letters and white striping on the back lower legs. The suspect was also wearing gloves and carrying a handgun.

Suspect three was wearing a black balaclava, black long sleeve sweatshirt, dark pants/jeans and was carrying a black duffle bad and a handgun.

The baseball bat and two handguns are the only known weapons. Further descriptions are not available.

The three suspects were inside the business for less than five minutes on April 15.. During the same time period, Simon Grant was assaulted and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

Grant was eventually transferred to a Saskatoon hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on April 17.

If you saw any vehicles or people leaving the area near Louisiana’s BBQ Restaurant in La Ronge between 10:45 and 11:15 p.m. on April 15, or know of someone who does, you are encouraged to report the information to police, even if you do not have full descriptions of the vehicles.
