Two players who are looking to earn a spot on the Prince Albert Raiders this season made their presence felt at the Art Hauser Centre Monday afternoon.

Defenceman Landon Kosior had two goals and an assist, while forward Logan Linklater had a goal and an assist as they helped Team Green to a 6-3 win over Team White in the Raiders’ annual Green and White Game, which concluded the club’s 2019 training camp.

The pair are coming off strong seasons in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League, as Kosior had 52 points in 44 games for a Tisdale Trojans side that finished in third place at the Telus Cup.

Linklater put up 32 points in 39 games in his rookie campaign for the Swift Current Legionnaires.

Ozzy Wiesblatt, Bryce Warkentine and Justin Nachbaur all scored in the victory, while Tyler Ostrander, Eric Pearce and Tyson Laventure found the back of the net in a losing effort.

Max Hildebrand got the start for Team Green and made 20 saves in the first half of the contest before giving way to Liam Vanderkooi, who stopped eight of the nine shots he faced.

At the other end of the ice, Carter Serhyenko turned aside 22 shots in the opening 30 minutes for Team White, with Owen Savoie making 12 saves on 15 shots in the second half.
