Prince Albert drive-thru vaccine clinic open this weekend

The drive-thru COVID-19 immunization clinic in Prince Albert is open this weekend.

On Friday the SHA announced that the clinic will be open May 14 and May 15.

The clinic will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 14 and 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on May 15 or until all vaccines are administered.

The clinic is located at the Thorpe Industries Warehouse, 1 Pine Street, east of the Provincial Forest Fire Control Center- North of Prince Albert on Highway 2. Direction signs are posted.

There will be no public washrooms on site.

The drive-thru site is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Effective, 8:00 a.m. tomorrow eligibility in the provincial age-based immunization program moves to 20 years of age and older, except for residents living in the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District, where it remains at age 18 and older. This applies to all immunization clinics: booked appointments, pharmacies, drive-thru/walk-in, and mobile.

The clinic will also be open May 21 and 22, times have not been announced by the province.
