One suspect remains at large after a robbery at a rural location in the RM of Shellbrook on June 19.
Three suspects have been arrested, including one man who was released without charges. The other two made their first court appearance on Tuesday.
Breana Daniels of Mistawasis First Nation is the only suspect named by police. She faces seven charges including robbery with a firearm.
The second suspect is a 16-year-old boy who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. He faces eight charges, including robbery with a firearm.
Police are still searching for another 16-year-old boy in connection with the case. He faces multiple charges, including robbery with a firearm, and three counts of breaching probation. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
RCMP were called to the rural area at around 3 a.m. on June 19 after four firearms, an ATV, and a truck were reported stolen. The initial investigation revealed four people had entered two buildings on the property, then confronted the homeowner in the house before fleeing.
Police say one of the four individuals fired a gun at the residence before leaving in the stolen truck. The bullet went through a window and into the building. Police say no one inside was physically injured.
At 7:30 p.m., police received a tip that the stolen truck was parked at a business in Shellbrook. While responding to the call, officers received another tip indicating the truck was now stuck in a ditch on Grid Road No. 788.
Police say multiple individuals were seen getting into a second truck. One of the individuals then fired shots at two members of the public before driving away.
Police attempted a traffic stop, but the driver of the stolen vehicle instead drove through a field towards a nearby residence. Four individuals eventually left the vehicle and ran on foot in separate directions.
The adult man was arrested shortly afterwards and later released. RCMP officers tracked down two other suspects with help from the Prince Albert Police Service, including a police dog unit.
Police have recovered two firearms, along with ammunition.
