Shellbrook RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle involved with a hit-and-run on August 13th.
At approximately 8:20 am, the police responded to a report of an employee at a gas station in Holbein that had been struck by a matte black Ford F-350 Harley Davidson edition pick-up truck. Initial investigation revealed that two young adult males fuelled the truck and attempted to leave without paying. The employee intervened by jumping in the drivers’ side of the cabin to prevent the vehicle and two men from leaving. The employee was ejected and the two men managed to get away.
The employee was taken to hospital in Prince Albert with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
The truck that the men had been travelling in appeared to have been coated in rocker guard/box liner material.
Video surveillance captured images of one of the males wearing a black Atlanta Braves baseball cap with a red brim and a black hoodie with a large white text in the front, as well as glasses.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the two males and/or the black Ford F-350 Harley Davidson pick-up truck involved in the incident is asked to contact Shellbrook RCMP at 306-747-2606. Holbein is about 30 km west of Prince Albert on Highway 3.
