Police investigating theft of ATV

Prince Albert police are investigating the theft of an ATV from a business on early Monday morning.

At about 1:25 a.m., police say someone cut the lock on the front gate of the business on the 4000 block of 2nd Avenue West.

Police have released a photo of the stolen 2018 Viking EPS side by side.

Assaults

Police responded to two alleged assaults over the weekend.

The first occurred at about 2:30 a.m. on Saturday on the 100 block of 28th Street East.

Two women reported someone sprayed them with bear mace during a break and enter. A PS4 and a TV were stolen.

Officers are still investigating.

In the second assault call, police charged a 19-year-old man after an incident on Sunday.

Police responded to a home of the 1100 block of Branion Drive around 5:30 p.m.

The suspect is charged with assault, overcoming resistance to commit an offence and breach of a court order.

The man was scheduled to appear in court on Monday morning.

Robberies

The police’s weekend update also included two calls for robberies.

A food delivery driver reported that he was robbed on Friday night on the 400 block of 19th Street East.

He said three men stole his vehicle and money at about 10:30 p.m.

Police recovered the vehicle at about 11 p.m. on the 800 block of 4th Street East.

Police are also reviewing footage of a robbery from a business on the 2700 block of 2nd Avenue West. Officers arrived in the area just after 9 p.m. on Sunday.
