Prince Albert Lions Club

The Operation Red Nose hosted by the Prince Albert Lions has just completed the 100th evening of serving Prince Albert and Area in the last ten years. Already this year alone we have given over one hundred rides to people who wish to enjoy a little extra Christmas cheer and still be able to get themselves and their vehicles home safely.

Because of the donations received each year we have been able to provide elementary schools with well in excess of $1,000.00 plus to help with the expenses directly related to the schools.  Last year alone we were able to provide twelve schools with $800.00 each to help with projects such as lunch boxes, sports equipment, etc.  The school makes the decision as to where they need the money most.

Thank you Prince Albert and Area for giving the Prince Albert Lions Club so much support for this project that will continue to save lives now and in the future as well as supporting our youth in the schools.  We consider it both a privilege and an honour to host such an important project.  A special thank you must go out to all the non lion volunteers that come out each year to give us a hand.  We couldn’t do it without you.
