The RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 52-year-old woman.

Debbie Schindler was last seen leaving a home in Pierceland, Sask., near the Alberta-Saskatchewan border, between 7 and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. Her last reported contact with a family member was a phone call at about 10:30 a.m. to inform family members that she was still in Shellbrook and on her way to Pelican Narrows.

The RCMP went to her reported destination in Pelican Narrows and confirmed that she had not arrived. Police are concerned for her well-being.

Patrols were conducted by RCMP detachments from Smeaton, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Shellbrook, Waskesiu, La Ronge and Pelican Narrows. Officers continue to be on the lookout for Schindler.

She is described as 5-foot-1, about 180 lbs with green eyes and blonde and brown hair. She drives a 2007 Ford Edge with BC Licence plate DR642P.
