Man taken to hospital with serious injuries following alleged shooting in Stanley Mission

Stanley Mission RCMP are investigating an alleged shooting that left a 21-year-old man in hospital.

At about 3:30 a.m. on Monday, officers received a report of shots fired in the Mcleod Street area.

Paramedics transported the victim to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

A news release said RCMP did not locate any suspects or witnesses.
