Black Lake RCMP found a deceased man along a shoreline near Points North after hearing of an overturned canoe.
They received the call shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Sunday and headed about 50 kilometres north of Point North.
When officers arrived, they found two men who had been in the canoe, but one was missing.
RCMP quickly found the deceased body on the shoreline.
The man’s next of kin has been notified and his name will not be released.
The investigation in ongoing in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
