Injured man dropped off at hospital prompts RCMP investigation

La Ronge RCMP are investigating the Jan. 16 assault of a 36-year-old man and are asking for the public to come forward with information.

Police were called after the man was dropped off at the local hospital, where he received treatment for injuries described as serious. Investigation has determined his injuries are the result of an assault, according to RCMP.

La Ronge RCMP and the General Investigation Section continue to investigate the incident, with the assistance of the Saskatoon Provincial General Investigation Section and Prince Albert Forensic Identification Services.
