A Prince Albert woman was charged early Wednesday morning for impaired driving.

Police received a Report Impaired Driver (RID) complaint on the 600 block of 28 Street East around 4:11 a.m.

They located the vehicle—a silver sedan—after the 36-year-old driver hit a traffic light and some road signs at the intersection of 6th Avenue East and 15th Street East.

Parkland Ambulance then came to the scene and reported there were no major injuries.

The impaired woman was taken to the police station, where she failed breathalyzer tests.

She’s since been released, but has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle exceeding .08.

She will respond to these charges in court on Oct. 29.
