Vancouver singer Noah Derksen searches for meaning on his full-length debut

Noah Derksen is figuring his life out, and he’s putting those contemplative thoughts and insights to music.

The Vancouver-based folk singer is currently touring his sophomore album, In Search of the Way, which will be released on Oct. 19. The title is a reference to his current state of mind as a recent university graduate.

“This is now the first time in my life where I have complete and utter freedom to go about and act in the world as I wish,” he said.

“(I’m) just realizing that, although there are so many different options, I have no idea which one is the right one and where I should be headed.”
