Highway 2 north of Prince Albert is closed due to a fatal collision.
According to the Prince Albert RCMP, it appears as if a vehicle was in the wrong lane, headed into traffic and collided with another vehicle.
One person has been sent to the hospital and a second is deceased.
The RCMP is asking the public to avoid the area.
The highway is closed in both directions about one mile north of White Star Road. Detours are in place. The highway is expected to be closed for at least four hours.
