Drugs, money and weapons seized leads to four arrests

A search warrant conducted by Prince Albert’s Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET) on Thursday afternoon resulted in four arrests.

ISET is made up of members from both the Prince Albert Police Service and RCMP.

At 4:45 p.m., officers searched a home on the 700 block of 14th Street West, near the Ukrainian Catholic Church.

They found two pistols, 12.5 grams of marijuana, a replica handgun, a large amount of Canadian currency, drug trafficking items, multiple cellphones, 39 Gabapentin pills, 36 Codeine pills, a bag of suspected cocaine, a bag of suspected cutting agent, knives, a sword, shotgun shells and an adjustable butt stock and buffer tube.

Three men from Edmonton, aged 23, 24 and 29, and a woman from Île-à-la-Crosse, 18, were arrested and charged with a variety of firearms charges, charge of possession of property derived from crime exceeding $5,000 and a second count under $5,000, as well as possession of cocaine.

They appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Monday.
