A 10-year-old boy is in hospital recovering from serious burns to his face and hands.
Parkland Ambulance responded to the call in the R.M. of Shellbrook at 7:09 p.m. on Friday–the boy was standing too close to a fire pit while someone was starting a fire.
Paramedics took the boy to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon in stable condition.
