Trevor Bloom of Kelowna, B.C. and Prince Albert’s Ashley Ziegeman will be looking to bring home the 2021 Fountain Tire Men’s Lobstick title on Saturday morning, as they will tee off in the championship flight final at Waskesiu Golf Course.
Bloom, who entered the 32-player field as the 12th overall seed, defeated low qualifier Michael Smith of Saskatoon in Friday’s semifinal.
The 14th-ranked Ziegeman earned his spot in the final with a win over seventh-seeded Shaun Dunphy of Saskatoon.
Both finalists also competed in the Lobstick Open earlier this week, which was won by La Ronge’s Jerry Christiansen.
Bloom and Ziegeman ended up in a tie for 13th with Jason Galon, Brian Dueck and Liam Courtney.
