P.A. needleworkers return to Grace Campbell Gallery for annual exhibit

Linda Wolch joined the Prince Albert Sharp Needles Embroiderers’ Guild as soon as she moved to the city 20 years ago.

“This was my sanity knowing that I could meet people when I didn’t know a soul in town,” she said, during a break setting up for the guild’s annual winter display at John M. Cuelenaere Public Library’s Grace Campbell Gallery on Thursday afternoon.

“It’s just a lot of nice ladies who have similar interests,” added member Julie McIntosh.

“We have workshops, so we’re learning new techniques or trying new things all the time and we share patterns and ideas and it’s good fun.”
