Prince Albert Police investigating Saturday homicide

The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating a death that occurred in the city early Saturday morning as a homicide. 

According to police on Aug. 10 just before 1:30 a.m., the Prince Albert Police Service attended a residence in the 300 Block of 15th Street West for an injured person.  

On Monday Prince Albert police identified the deceased as 41-year-old Travis Caisse. 

On arrival, officers located an injured 41-year- old male and provided life saving measures, along with Parkland Ambulance.  

An autopsy was performed Monday and police are now investigating the death as a homicide 

Caisse was transported to the Victoria Hospital where he was declared deceased. 

The Prince Albert Police Service Criminal Investigations Unit and Forensic Identification Unit executed a search warrant at the residence where Travis Caisse was located early Saturday morning.
