UPDATED: Courtney Leanne Sinclair has been taken back into custody.

Prince Albert RCMP are looking for 23-year-old Courtney Leanne Sinclair—a prisoner who escaped from the hospital after she was arrested for a break and enter.

Sinclair was arrested on Monday. She complained of abdominal pain while in custody, so an RCMP officer took her to the hospital in Prince Albert.

She was not restrained when she escaped, and hospital employees say they did not see her leave.

Members of the RCMP and the Prince Albert Police Service have patrolled around the hospital.

Police are warning the public that Sinclair has a history of violent offences. If seen, do not approach her.

She is described as 5’5″, 180 pounds with brown shoulder-length hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing grey sweatpants, a black hooded sweatshirt, navy blue dock shoes and beige hospital socks.

If you have any information on her whereabouts, contact police at 306-765-5500. You can also submit a tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
