Prince Albert’s Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET) seized thousands of dollars worth of opioids after executing a search warrant on Friday.

Two men, ages 59 and 60, are facing charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of a crime.

This comes after police searched a home on the 500 block of 12th Street East.

They located about $40,000 worth of drugs, which included over 1,800 hydromorphone pills and capsules adding up to more than 12,000 mg.

Officers also seized roughly $8,000 in cash.

One suspect is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 7 and the other on Oct. 9.

ISET consists of members of both the Prince Albert Police Service and the RCMP.
