Motives a mystery in medical clinic break-in

Police arrested a man who had allegedly broken into a medical clinic Saturday.

Officers responded to a report about the incident, which occurred on the 600 block of 15 Street West after 4:30 a.m. that morning. They found a broken window, and entered the building.

Prince Albert Police Service spokesperson Alanna Adamko said they found a man inside an office of the clinic, seated on a desk. Officers arrested him before he was able to steal anything, she said. No drugs were found on his person.

Adamko said she was unsure about the man’s motivations for entering the medical clinic.

The man, a 28 year old from Montreal Lake, is facing break-and-enter charges. He was set to appear in Prince Albert’s provincial courthouse on Monday.
