Canadian Brewhouse and Lake Country Co-op have announced a new partnership for an 8,700 square foot sports-themed development in The Yard.

The building will feature a rooftop patio, golf simulator, and a strong connection with the community’s sports and entertainment culture, both companies said in a media release. The facility will be open by Winter 2025 and create between 70 and 100 new jobs.

“We’re excited to bring this unique concept to Prince Albert,” said Geoff German, Vice President of Consumer Operations and Innovation at Lake Country Co-op. “This partnership with Canadian Brewhouse allows us to create a space that not only celebrates our local culture but also serves as a central hub for sports and entertainment. We can’t wait to welcome the community to this new offering.”

In a press release, German said the restaurant will be a hub for locals and visitors, with a design inspired by the natural beauty of the area. He added that the highlight will be its rooftop and ground floor patio, which will offer a panoramic view for diners under the open sky.

German said the Canadian Brewhouse’s philosophy of “Our House is Your House” aligns seamlessly with Lake Country Co-op’s motto, “You’re At Home Here.”

The Canadian Brewhouse is a Canadian themed restaurant with an extensive menu of appetizers, entrees, drinks, and great specials. The restaurants are proud supporters of local sports.

Both companies said the new venue will be a central gathering place for fans and athletes alike.

The partnership with Canadian Brewhouse includes plans to engage local sports teams and create an environment for watching games and celebrating victories. The venue will also host a variety of entertainment events such as live music and trivia nights.

“This initiative is a significant investment in the Prince Albert community,” reads the press release. “This influx of employment will provide a considerable boost to the local economy, supporting families and contributing to the overall growth and development of the area.”

The new venue will be set in the new Yard development next to the new Indoor Recreation Centre.
