GREEN WATER PROVINCIAL PARK – On Aug. 24, you can head to Greenwater Provincial Park and watch a movie under the sky.

As part of the Saskatchewan Parks Summer Cinemas, Greenwater Provincial Park will provide the public a movie night under the stars located at the beach area. Sask Parks Summer Cinema’s The Little Mermaid (2023) will be playing.

Organizers said moviegoers will enjoy an outdoor movie experience on the big screen and want to remind the public to dress for the weather. Blankets and lawn chairs are recommended. Also before the show, there will be hands-on activities with Saskatchewan parks interpreters.

This event is free with a valid park entry permit.

The event schedule is as follows:

7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. – Ariel’s Under the Sea Adventure. Help Ariel find Flounder and Sebastian, who have hidden the thingamabobs needed to make a sea-themed windchime craft. Then, make a seashell windchime to take home.
