The stage is getting set once again for the prestigious Prince Albert Exhibition to resume in 2023.
The event will start on July 30 and end on Aug 3. Prince Albert Exhibition Association President Greg Dionne said they are eager to see residents back for another year.
“We are excited,” Dionne said. “We are going to have Midway come, we’ll have five or six new rides in it. Usually we don’t have the Chuckwagon all week but this year we have them for five days (from Tuesday to Saturday) with the Northern Championship and then on Saturday we will have something very unique, we’ll have a Show and Shine for the semis. It is going to be something unique and different for people to come and see.”
Other activities include kids bingo, the Creeland Dancers, and bands and dances in the main hall. The event
will also include the Exhibition Trade Show in the PA Armoury.
Agricultural events like pony rides and the barnyard animal petting zoo will also be available.
“The fair will be a week-long event. In the Main Hall there will be entertainment all day and we will use the main hall also for a cooling station” Dionne said.
Entry fee is $18 for adults, $15 for seniors and students, and $10 for children ages 7-12. Kids ages six and under are free. Family passes are available for $50.
The Exhibition begins with the annual parade on Tuesday, July 30 at 6 p.m. Anyone who wants to enter a
float is asked to call 306-941-8916.
Entrance fees admit the attendees to other activities at the exhibition grounds.
