The city of Prince Albert will be playing host once again to the 2nd Annual Summer Shindig taking place on Friday at 3p.m. at the River Bank. According to event organizer Kelly Ermine the event is one of a kind.
“This shindig will give me the opportunity to add value to Prince Albert, there is no event similar to this in PA and it offers the artists of Prince Albert extraction a platform to sell themselves, food and clothing vendors will be offered an opportunity to showcase and sell their stuff,” Ermine said.
This event is a music festival and features clothing & food vendors. Music of all preferences will be available, from Country, Folk, Rock to Hip Hop. This is a family-friendly event and will have both DJs & Live music at the shindig.
“The 2nd Annual Summer Shindig is being put together very quickly, A lot of bands that I am booking have been very accommodating and have agreed to be part of the event, the flyers should be out soon,” Ermine said. “Some of the artists are rookies while others have over 30 years of music performance, so there is going to be something for everyone.”Last year’s event was at Kinsmen Park while this year will be at the River Bank and there will be new artists added to the mix.
