La Ronge RCMP are investigating after a single vehicle rollover caused the death of a man in La Ronge on Saturday.
At approximately 6:45 a.m. police responded to the call of a rollover on Lagoon Road in Bell’s Point.
A passenger in the vehicle was declared deceased at the scene. He has been indentified as a 20-year-old male from La Ronge.
THe driver and the second passenger were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
As a result of a continuing investigation, an adult male was arrested.
24-year-old Terrance McKay of La Ronge faces charges of operation while impaired of motor vehicle causing death, dangerous operation of a conveyance causing death, operation while impaired causing bodily harm and dangeros operation of a coveyance causing bodily harm.
He appeared in court on Aug. 26. RCMP continue to investigate.
