Prince Albert police member facing assault charges

A member of the Prince Albert Police Service has been charged with assault following a Public Complaints Commission (PCC) investigation.

The charges stem from two incidents in July 2022, according to a news release. The member, who joined the force in January 2019, has been charged with three counts of simple assault.

He is set to appear in court on Oct. 26, and has been reassigned to administrative duties throughout the court proceedings.
