Paramedics bounce into action

Parkland Ambulance has responded to two trampoline accidents in a week.

On Wednesday, June 13, paramedics cared for a four-year-old girl with “significant arm injuries” on Wahpeton Dakota Nation.

One week later, a seven-year-old boy was also injured while playing on a trampoline.

At about 7:52 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, Parkland responded to the call on the 1900 block of 14th Street West.

They took the boy to hospital in stable condition.

Vehicle vs. pedestrian collision

At about 1:53 p.m. on Wednesday, paramedics responded to the Cornerstone shopping district for a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision.

They took a man to hospital with minor injuries.
