PAPS make arrests following drug trafficking investigation

The Prince Albert Police Service Crime Reduction Team (CRT) arrested and charged three individuals for possession of drugs and other offences.

Zan Rasmussen, 23, is charged with Possession of Methampheatime and Breach of Release Order. Taylor Billette, 25, is charged with Possession of Methampheatmine for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Breach of Release Order Justin Ryder, 33, is charged with Possession of Methampheatmine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, and Breach of Release Order. All three are residents of Prince Albert. None of the charges have been proven in court.

The arrests came following a CRT and Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team (STRT) drug trafficking investigation. Officers executed a search warrant at the residence in the 400 block of 21st Street East in Prince Albert.   As a result of the investigation, police seized 1074.4 grams of methamphetamine, 11 grams of cocaine, $1710.00, ammunition, and assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

All three made their first appearance in provincial court on Friday.
