La Ronge celebrates Canada Day

Beginning with a parade representing many local organizations, residents in La Ronge celebrated Canada Day with a Family Festival and other entertainment. The Festival began with singing O Canada and featured entertainment throughout the afternoon. The entertainment included The Bighetty Puppet Show, Chance Gonzolez Magic, Stage Games, La Ronge Pow Wow Dance, Ishraq Dance Troupe and local entertainment. Resources from the Northern Active Living Library were available throughout the day.

Gemma Heppner and Nova Stryde enjoyed the Canada Day festivities, which included face painting and ice cream.
