‘In-your-face nonstop entertainment’

Aaron Pritchett always has a good time at the Canadian Country Music Awards.

The B.C.-based country music artist, who is up for two awards this year, doesn’t expect this year to be an exception.

But before Pritchett arrives in Saskatoon for the CCMAs, he has a little stop to make at the E.A. Rawlinson Centre.

Pritchett is playing in Prince Albert Thursday night, his last performance before the craziness that is CCMA week. The singer has been through the area a few times, and is looking forward to sharing his songs with the local community.

“I look forward to every single show that I do. Whether it’s a little acoustic show or a full band show, anything I can sit and play and try to make people smile, I’m eager to play.”

Pritchett is heading to Saskatoon with two CCMA nominations. One is for male artist of the year, and the other for video of the year with When a Momma’s Boy Meets a Daddy’s Girl.

Pritchett said his P.A. show would feature that song, as well as his other new single, VW Bus.

“I’ve always taken pride in the fact that my set can be too long because I have so many songs that have been on the radio,” he said.
