Cut Knife RCMP arrests 2 suspects following armed robbery investigation

Cut Knife RCMP have arrested two suspects after receiving a report of an armed robbery at a residence on Poundmaker Cree Nation.
RCMP report that two individuals approached four victims. One woman was assaulted while a man was threatened with a firearm, which was discharged into the air. The man was then forced to drive the suspects to a residence on Poundmaker Cree Nation.
Once at the residence, the suspects got in an altercation with another adult male, demanding the keys to a truck parked on the driveway. The keys were not provided and the suspects fled the scene on foot.
No physical or life threatening injuries were reported by the victims.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Remotely Piloted Aircraft System was deployed to conduct searches of the area. Officers located an adult female running behind a residence on Poundmaker Cree Nation and was immediately arrested at the scene without incident.
The adult male was later arrested at a residence on Poundmaker Cree Nation.
Durrell Bearsears and Jessica Fox appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court on Aug. 19.
Bearsears, 27, from Little Pine First Nation is charged with one count, robbery with a firearm, one count, possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, one count, discharge firearm with intent, one count, uttering threats against a person, two counts, weapons possession contrary to order, one count, assault with a weapon, one count, careless use of a firearm and one count, fail to comply with probation order.
Jessica Fox, 21, is charged with one count, robbery with a firearm, one count, assault, one count, uttering threats against a person and one count, possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
