An arrested has been made following an arson investigation in Prince Albert on Thursday.
According to Prince Albert Police one woman was arrested Thursday afternoon following a call for service to a house fire.
On April 24 at around noon police were called to the 500 block of 12th Street East following reports that a woman had set a house on fire.
Shortly after. officers located a female matching the suspect description in the 500 block of 11th Street East; she was then arrested without further incident.
The Prince Albert Fire Department also attended and extinguished the fire. There were no injuries because of this incident.
As a result of the investigation, the 40-year-old woman has been charged with arson cussing damage to property.
