Utility poles found

The RCMP have accounted for two 80-foot utility poles reported stolen last month. It turns out they weren’t stolen at all.

“Prince Albert RCMP are advising that a theft had not taken place in this circumstance,” the police said in a press release. “The Prince Albert RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.”

Police initially reported that a suspect used heavy equipment to steal the poles, and requested assistance from the public to locate him. The value of the poles was estimated at about $4,000.
