Prince Albert police arrested two males, ages 17 and 15, on Thursday for firearms-related offences.
This was after receiving a report of a male with outstanding warrants at the 200 block of 10th Street East. Police were dispatched around 4 p.m.
The suspect, who was with another male, was located in a parking lot on 10th Street West.
Both were arrested for police safety and searched—they discovered the other male was concealing a loaded sawed off rifle and removed it.
The 17-year-old is from Prince Albert and is charged with six firearms-related charges and two breaches of a youth sentence order.
The 15-year-old is charged with five firearms-related offences. He’s from Swan River, Manitoba.
