As part of the education process, students and staff in the Prince Albert Catholic School Division engage in many social justice projects to support their schools, community and the world around them. Today the food bank will receive food collected in a recent food drive at St. Francis School. Students and staff were proud to participate in a fun way to “Scare Away Hunger”. Mrs. Tannis Lussier’s Grade 3 class shared the collection they made for the food bank.

Vice-Principal Rebecca Lafond shared “ The students in Mrs Lussier’s Grade 3 class were very determined to be the winners for collecting the most food for the food bank at St. Francis School. They collected a quarter of the full amount of food brought in to the school for the food bank drive. They did awesome!
