On Monday morning the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) warned residents of potential COVID-19 exposure at various locations in Prince Albert and around the province.
The locations in Prince Albert include:
- Co-op Cornerstone, 777 15 Street East, no times available on Oct. 10, 14 and 17.
- Safeway, 2995 2 Avenue West (South Hill Mall), 3 p.m. on Oct. 13
- Surplus Furniture, 1202 First Avenue West, 12 to 5 p.m. and Park Range Vet Clinic, 380A South Industrial Drive, 3:30 to 4 p.m. on Oct. 14
- Walmart Pharmacy, 800 15 Street East, 1 to 1:30 p.m. and Shoppers Drug Mart, 2995 Second Avenue West, no times available on Oct. 15
- Walmart, 800 15 Street East, 2 to 3 p.m. and Montana’s, 3145 2 Avenue West, 5 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 16.
- Peavey Mart, 3925 2 Avenue West, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and Canadian Tire, 3725 2 Avenue West, 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Oct. 17.
- Edo Japan, 801 15 Street East, no times available on Oct. 19
- A&W, 110 11 Street West, no times available on Oct. 21
- Real Canadian SuperStore, 591 15 Street East, no times available on Oct. 13 and 21.
There was also a potential COVID-19 exposure in Shellbrook at Bigway Grocery Store on28 Main Street on Oct. 18.
No times were available in the release.
Other locations in the alert included Estevan, Esterhazy, Lloydminster, Regina and Saskatoon.
Anyone who was at these locations during this time should self-monitor for 14 days. If you were at these locations and have or had any symptoms of COVID-19, the SHA advises people to self-isolate immediately and call 811 to arrange testing. Symptoms include cold and flu-like symptoms, muscle/joint pain, dizziness, fatigue, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, difficulty feeding for children, loss of sense of taste or smell, shortness of breath and difficulty breathing.
The SHA sends out public alerts when health officials are uncertain about the number of known close contacts COVID-19 patients had before being tested. In those cases, they notify the community about locations.
