The second of two men wanted in connection with an April armed robbery in Shellbrook has been arrested.

Keith Stonechild was arrested on an outstanding warrant on July 26 and was due in Prince Albert court for a first appearance on Aug. 1.

In relation to the robbery, Stonechild has been charged with:

  • Robbery with a firearm
  • Robbery
  • Masked with intent
  • Carrying a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence
  • Using a firearm while committing an indictable offence
  • Two counts of pointing a firearm

Stonechild is also facing other matters before the courts.

Fellow accused Matthew Lafond was arrested in Shellbrook on June 12. He made his first appearance in provincial court at Ahtahkakoop on June 13.
