Buffalo Narrows RCMP are looking for a suspect after a man was seriously injured in a shooting on Saturday morning.
Police were called at about 8:45 a.m. on Aug. 15 after receiving a report that a firearm had been discharged in Buffalo Narrows.
RCMP said two men had been involved in an altercation outside a residence when one of them fired a gun and injured the other.
The injured man was treated in hospital for injuries described as serious.
The suspect fled before police arrived.
Buffalo Narrows RCMP and Saskatchewan RCMP Police Dog Services searched the area and are continuing efforts to locate and arrest the suspect.
Saskatchewan RCMP Forensic Identification Services is also assisting with the investigation.
