Two men from the La Loche area have died after two SUVs collided on Hwy 40 near Blaine Lake.
Emergency Services personnel were called to the scene at around 11:10 p.m. on April 17. Police say the first SUV had four occupants, including a 27-year-old man and a 28-year-old man, both from the La Loche area, who were declared deceased at the scene. Their families have been notified.
Another passenger in the first SUV were taken to hospital with serious injuries. The driver was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The driver of the second SUV was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Saskatchewan RCMP continue to investigate.
