An 18-year-old man has died after being shot on Kaskew Crescent in Pelican Narrows on Saturday.
RCMP officers were called to the scene at around 8 a.m. following reports that a man was seriously injured. Members of the public transported him to a local health clinic where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
An autopsy was scheduled for Monday in Saskatoon. The man’s family has been notified.
Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes, supported by RCMP Historical Case Unit police officers, continue to investigate with the assistance of Pelican Narrows RCMP and RCMP Forensic Identification Section.
Investigators do not believe there is an increased safety risk at this time.
