An Ontario man was a fatality in an accident near La Loche early Saturday morning.
According to RCMp on August 15, 2026 at approximately 2:20 a.m., La Loche RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 155, approximately 30 kilometres south of La Loche.
Officers responded along with local fire and EMS. The driver of the vehicle was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as a 20-year-old male from Brampton, ON. His family has been notified.
Four passengers were transported to hospital by EMS with injuries described as non-life threatening in nature.
La Loche RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
