An 18-year-old woman from Canoe Lake Cree First Nation has passed away after an ATV rollover.
On July 21 at approximately 8:35 a.m., Beauval RCMP received a report of an ATV rollover on Canoe Lake Cree First Nation.
Officers responded along with EMS. Investigation determined that a passenger and a driver of an ATV were involved with a rollover. The passenger, an 18-year-old woman from Canoe Lake Cree First Nation was declared deceased at the scene. Her family was notified.
The driver was transported by EMS to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.
RCMP continue to investigate the incident.
