A Prince Albert woman received an early Christmas present on Wednesday after discovering she won $100,000 on a scratch and win ticket.

Lisa Bear purchased the winning ticket from a convenience store in Prince Albert on 15th Street West. She was in a hurry when she checked her ticket, and didn’t realize how much she had won.

“I scanned the ticket and thought I had won $50 at first,” Bear said. “I took a second look at the screen and saw $100,000.”

Bear said she was left shocked and “completely speechless” by the win.

“I looked at the cashier and they looked at me,” she said. “I don’t think either of us knew what to say.”

Bear said she has a few plans for her winnings. She plans to by a vehicle to drive her children around in. Eventually, she wants to buy a recreational vehicle (RV) and take her kids camping.

“I’ve always wanted to get one,” she said.
