The Prince Albert Sharks swim team made waves at the prestigious Michelle Moore Swim
Meet, held in Regina from May 8 to May 10.
Eight talented swimmers represented the Sharks, showcasing their exceptional skills and determination. Their outstanding performance earned them a remarkable total of 21 medals, spanning gold, silver, and bronze, along with numerous impressive “A” times.
Standout Performances:
• Ethan E: Dominating the competition, Ethan clinched 3 gold medals, 1 silver, and 2 bronze, solidifying his status as a top contender.
• Zoe C: Demonstrating consistency and grit, Zoe secured 3 silver and 3 bronze medals.
• Sophia W: With a blend of speed and technique, Sophia earned 1 gold and 1 bronze medal.
• Mikaela A: Mikaela’s perseverance paid off with 3 bronze medals.
• Bella D: A force to be reckoned with, Bella qualified for the finals in the 50 free, 100 backstroke, 100 free, and 200 backstroke events.
• Savannah B: Savannah showcased her prowess by qualifying for the finals in the 50 free and 100 breaststroke.
• Aubree D: Aubree’s dedication led her to qualify for the finals in the 200 breaststroke.
• Ethan B: Ethan B’s remarkable talent earned him a spot in the finals of the 200 butterfly.
