Prince Albert Police investigating after suspect brandishes knife in business

The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating following an incident involving a weapon at a business Thursday afternoon.

According to Police on April 24 at approximately 3:15 p.m. officers were called to a business in the 600 block of Branion Drive for a weapons complaint. Initial information stated a male with a large knife was inside the business.

The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival; however, officers learned the suspect male entered the store and refused to pay for merchandise. The suspect male then allegedly brandished a knife and threated staff before fleeing the scene.

Responding officers checked the surrounding area but were not successful in locating a male matching the suspect description.

According to Police the suspect is described as male, wearing a blue shirt, black pants and a blue medical mask.
