A 39-year-old Prince Albert man is facing multiple charges following the search of two different residences on Monday.

Police discovered the man, along with 73 grams of a substance suspected of being methamphetamine, 52 pills of 9 mg Hydromorphone and a water bottle half full of suspected GHB, during and Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET) search at 11:26 a.m. Police also discovered a digital scale, cell phone, tablet, bear spray and a large sum of cash.

The original search occurred at an apartment on the 400 block of 12 Street East, but police also searched a residence on the 700 Block of McCraney Crescent that the man was known to frequent. Another digital scale and a taser flashlight were discovered there.

The suspect made his first court appearance on Tuesday. He faces charges of possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of hydromorphone for the purpose of trafficking, possession of gamma hydroxybutonic for the purpose of trafficking, and being at large of his recognizance to not possess drugs, cell phones or other electronic devices, among other charges.
